The Mohs Scale is a very useful interdisciplinary tool for analyzing the durability of minerals.
As it includes 12 minerals with different durability, it is possible to carry out several interesting experiments using different materials.
Although the original scale, created by Friedrich Mohs, includes 10 minerals, in this article you can also find Porcelain, Nail and Glass which, by replacing Diamond (the last mineral on the scale), end up expanding the number of possible experiments.
