First Period:
Start of Classes - Between September 12th and 15th, 2023
End of the 1st period - December 15, 2023
The first day of school marks the beginning of a new journey for thousands of students across the country. It's a day filled with anticipation and nervousness, but also with excitement to see classmates, friends, and teachers again, and to meet new classmates.
2nd period:
Start of Classes - January 3, 2024
End of the 2nd period - March 22, 2024
3rd period:
Start of Classes - April 8, 2024
End of the 3rd period :
June 4, 2024 (9th, 11th and 12th grades);
June 14, 2024 (5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 10th grades);
June 28, 2024 (Pre-School and 1st Cycle Education).
Interruption of school activities
- Christmas : From December 18, 2023 to January 2, 2024.
- Carnival : From February 12th to 14th, 2024.
- Easter : From March 25, 2024 to April 5, 2024.
- Summer :
- Starting June 5, 2024 (9th, 11th, and 12th grades);*
- Starting June 15, 2024 (5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 10th grades);
- Starting June 29, 2024 (Early Childhood Education and Elementary School).
* Students in grades 9, 11, and 12 begin preparing today for their upcoming final exams and national tests. Dedication and focus are crucial at this stage, as they review the material and consolidate the knowledge acquired throughout the year.
Assessment Period, End-of-Cycle Exams and National Exams: From May to July
The months of May, June, and July bring with them the season of national tests and exams. This is the time when students have the opportunity to demonstrate all their knowledge and understanding of the subjects they have learned. Adequate preparation is crucial to facing these challenges with expectation and confidence.
