The Seguine number board is a valuable tool for exploring and understanding numbers in the range of 11 to 99, featuring two carefully designed boards inside a lidded box.
Each board is divided into five courts, four of which are marked with numbers from 10 to 90.
The set is complemented by numbered plates from 1 to 9, which are cleverly inserted under the frame of each field to create numbers.
Table I allows the creation of numbers from 11 to 50, while Table II facilitates the creation of numbers from 50 to 90.
Exploring Numbers with the Seguín Table - Kit 2
During activities with the number boards, children are invited to develop and improve their ability to create numbers in the range of 11 to 99.
By manipulating the numbered plates, they develop awareness of the place of each ten in the numerical sequence, as well as understanding the functions of the units in the formation of tens.
