Exploring numbers
The hundreds chart is a gateway to the fascinating world of numbers, designed to nurture children's curiosity and understanding of fundamental mathematical concepts.
This board is a versatile tool consisting of an elaborate blue board and a box of number cubes, complemented by an intuitive control panel.
The blue board, carefully inserted into a frame, is divided into 100 squares, each corresponding to the dimensions of the numbered cubes contained in the box.
The number cubes, organized into two compartments, cover the range from 1 to 100, with 50 cubes in each compartment.
These cubes offer children a tangible experience of counting and manipulating numbers.
Learning math in a tangible way: The Hundreds Chart
The control panel, shaped like a square, is an extension of the game board, divided into one hundred numbered fields from 1 to 100.
This panel allows children to consolidate their understanding of digital number notation, as well as offering opportunities to practice counting and memorizing the number sequence up to 100.
Based on the principles of Montessori pedagogy, this set is more than just a teaching tool; it's an invitation to actively and engagingly explore numbers.
Where children are encouraged to acquire knowledge, skills, and abilities through their spontaneous activity, involving all their senses.
With the hundreds-based grid, children embark on an exciting journey of mathematical discovery, where every interaction is an opportunity for growth.
